The style for DS+ and DS is extremely different. For example, DS+ tends to go for a more simplistic and different pixel shading. The facesets follow the VXAce Style which has a lot more abundant resource than RMDS.

It focuses more on Modern Era/Sengoku though. It also has tons of battlers and custom battlebacks for generic fantasy to futuristic sci-fi. There's a lot of upside DS+ has over DS but it depends on what you need in the end. But DS is still great for medieval-y/fantasy settings. Personally I prefer DS+ as an artist and game developer since it's easier for me to create new tiles vs.
DS's shading style. And I enjoy mapping with DS+ more because of it. And I like the colors.
The DS resource pack is mainly aimed for advanced users of RPG Maker, which means it involves opening up graphic editor programs and merge desired tiles together as well. Additionally, the set labels are solely meant for organization purpose and in no way determine where each set should belong to. You are expected to open graphic editor programs and merge the sets as you see fit.
Even if we do merge everything together, there isn't going to be enough space based on RM's specifications (we tried) and you would have tons of repetitive tiles (Look closely on the VXAce RTP and you WILL see it). Well, I started overworking the tiles a little bit.
Most of the plants work fairly well if a little gauss filter is applied and the colours being adjusted. Well, to be honest. I think part of the trees was just overworked and put into ace. Don't judge me if I am wrong, but they look awfully alike (besides being less blurry). Tamil remix mp3 free download. Smoothing and adjusting colours for the rest of the tiles will make them fit pretty well with the standard RTP I think. Of course it's a little work, but especially the rooftiles are a nice addition, and the arabian tiles are a great addition to the standard ressources. You cannot make pixel art turn into a painted style just by blurring things out. You have to understand it's a completely different art style, and any other styles would not match with it. Well I didn't say to only blurry it, but to tweak a few thinks. And regarding the DS resources it is well possible to make them look more compareable to the standard ressources. And adding a very small smooth effect ( 0.5 pixel) and adjusting colours does the trick (I did it, anyways with all the plants from the DS pack). If you compare both packs you can clearly see that the DS pack is more sharp because of less used colours, than the Ace RTP, and looking more 'pixelish' but it is not a total different art style (I am just talking about the tilesets, though, not battlers or anything). It's just a bit more classy in it's use of colours with less smooth steps between neighboring colours.
Not sure if I am allowed to link it (since it's ressources from official packs, but modified), but look at my attempt mixing all the plants from Ace RTP, Samurai pack and DS pack:.removed. I don't think they don't match the art style, but that certainly is up to a personal point of view. Seems like its tolerated, as long as you simply dont copy the graphics without any changes. You are wrong. The RTP of XP/VX/Ace are all allowed to be reposted with edits, because you can freely download these RTPs off the main website.
You have to pay for any of the other resource packs, so therefor these aren't allowed to be reposted, even if they're simply edits. Kk, good to know, removed it. Does anyone know, if someone owns all of the packs him-/herself, could he/she use the edited tiles from someone else (who also owns the packs)?

Next you can add the Movement Commands which will force the player through the wall, as well as making him semi-transparent: Alternatively you can make the player fully transparent, so it looks like he is completely hidden by the wall: As you can see I added the following movement commands:. Change Opacity: 100 this will make the player semi-transparent, so you can still see him, but he'll be blended with the background. Instead you can also use Transparent ON to make the player fully transparent, so he'll be completely obscured by the wall. Through ON this will allow the player to pass through walls. 1 Step Forward will force the player to move 1 step in the current direction. We repeat this as much times as needed to end up on a non-wall tile.
In this case 4 times. Through OFF this will stop allowing the player to pass through walls. We don't want the player to continue to freely roam while in a no-clipping mode.;-). Change Opacity: 255 this will make the player fully opaque again.
If you used Transparent ON before, then you should set Transparent OFF instead. Personally I prefer the Change Opacity option, so the player can see that his character didn't suddenly go missing, but is actually moving through the wall. After you've set all this, apply your changes and close the windows.
Now you can copy the event tile to the other side of the wall too, so you can move back through the wall again too.;-) Once you've set the events up like this, it should look like this: Too big? Scale the video down If you want to create move routes dynamically through scripts, have a look.
